TOP 65 FANTASY PLAYERS FOR 2007

TOP 65 FANTASY PLAYERS FOR 2007

1. RB Ladainian Tomlinson--duh
2. RB Frank Gore
3. RB Larry Johnson
4. RB Shaun Alexander
5. RB Steven Jackson

Gore will be the focal point of their offense all season.Alexander and Johnson will still carry the offense in Seattle and Kansas City. The Rams have quite a few offensive weapons besides Jackson, but he can also catch the ball out of the backfield.

6. RB Willie Parker

Parker will be the main weapon again for the Steelers, although you might hear otherwise from other so-called "experts".

7. RB Joseph Addai
8. RB Brian Westbrook
9. RB Rudi Johnson
10. QB Peyton Manning

Manning only falls to 10 because RB's are your main weapon in fantasy, and all these RB's will be the main options for their offenses ground game, which should mean scoring touchdowns.

11. RB Ronnie Brown
12. RB Willis McGahee
13. WR Steve Smith
14. RB Laurence Maroney
15. WR Marvin Harrison
16. RB Reggie Bush
17. WR Chad Johnson
18. RB Deuce McAlister
19. WR Torry Holt
20. QB Tom Brady

The focus should still be on RB's early in the draft, but these WR's may be too good to pass up if still on the board. Brady is someone you may be able to pick up a round or 2 later depending on who your drafting with, but I expect big numbers from him this year.

21. RB Travis Henry
22. WR Reggie Wayne
23. RB Thomas Jones
24. RB Maurice Drew
25. QB Drew Brees
26. QB Carson Palmer
27. WR Terrell Owens
28. RB Clinton Portis
29. RB Edgerrin James
30. QB Donovan McNabb
31. QB Mark Bulger
32. RB (R)Adrian Peterson
33. TE Antonio Gates
34. RB (R)Marshawn Lynch
35. WR Marques Colston
36. WR Larry Fitzgerald
37. WR Donald Driver
38. WR Randy Moss
39. RB Fred Taylor
40. WR Anquan Boldin

If you can snag at least 3 of these guys from 20-40 for your fantasy team this year your season should go pretty well. All will be a big part of what their offenses do this season and have the chance to find the end zone multiple times in a game.

41. RB Marion Barber
42. RB Chester Taylor
43. RB Lamont Jordan
44. RB Tatum Bell
45. RB Julius Jones
46. RB Ladell Betts
47. WR Javon Walker
48. WR Roy Williams
49. RB Jamal Lewis
50. RB Carnell Williams
51. TE Tony Gonzalez
52. RB Deshaun Foster
53. WR Santana Moss
54. WR T.J.Houshmandzedah
55. WR Hines Ward
56. WR Andre Johnson
57. WR Plaxico Burress
58. RB Ahman Green
59. QB Vince Young
60. RB Warrick Dunn
61. QB Jay Cutler
62. TE Jeremy Shockey
63. WR Darrell Jackson
64. TE Todd Heap
65. QB Matt Leinart

This is where it gets tough and alot of fantasy championships are either won or lost. Any of these players could be the difference between winning or losing, so choose wisely and be glad you have found Johnnynfl.com!!! Remember, having a strong bench never hurts, especially with all the injuries that are bound to happen. Stick to your player rankings as closely as you can but be aware of what you have on your team so you can draft accordingly. If Lance Briggs finally decides to get over his contract dispute and actually play this year for the Bears, I would have to consider taking them somewhere along the way. They are the only defense I would consider taking as there should be a defense to take with your final pick that will be just as good or almost as good as the 2nd defense taken. Remember also, this list will change frequently as we get closer to the season and the players actually start performing. Good luck and don't forget to come on back for my position by position rankings!!!

    Johnny;

Really great blog and valuable infomation to help me open a "Can Of Whip-ass" in the Fantasy leagues, which have been doing me the "Chalk-Line-Stomp" for years.

Whats the chance of getting some picks on "Kickers" as a lot of leagues used them ?

Thanks Bob. I appreciate the compliment. I'll have my TOP 15 K's posted on Friday. But remember, I wouldn't overly concern myself with getting a kicker until the final or next to final round. BUILD YOUR TEAM!! Especially the way injuries happen these days, you want to have as strong a bench as possible for your skill players. My first choice at kicker right now would be Nate Kaeding of the Chargers though, but we'll see what happens. Again, thanks for the comment and let me know if you have any other questions I can help with.
