Well, I may have been a little hard on them. I wouldn't expect them to be as cohesive with a new coach in town, but it's not like they can't challenge the Marvin Lewis led Bengals or the offensively challenged Ravens once again for a division title. Check out my final preseason predictions later today and you'll see what I mean. Thanks for the comment and, hey, they might be a little better than I originally thought.

Your right, they do have a way of pulling out those games when you think they are beat. I admit, they probably will do better than 5-11, but they do play some tough teams. They still need Santonio Holmes or Heath Miller to play better, or it's gonna be tough for Big Ben to get better. Don't forget , losing C Jeff Hartings doesn't help the offensive line either. Come on back on opening day 9/6 to check out my final preseason predictions and we'll see where they stand. Thanks for the comment and good luck in 2007!

I have faith in our new coach, Tomlin. The Steelers are looking pretty good in preseason, it could be better but hey, it is preseason. Let's hope they continue. I agree that Roethlisberger hasn't looked good since his accident but we're hoping since he's looking for a new contract that he'll do well this year. I think they'll do better than the 5-11 that you're predicting. They have a way of pulling off a win when you don't expect it.

Thanks for the comment Joe. I appreciate it. Yeah, Green's not bad but I am just saying if you look around the league, he's probably not even in the top 50 DE's. I mean, how many teams do you think he would start for? I don't think any, but hey, that's what makes the NFL so great, everybody has their opinion! Unfortunately for me, I am a Dolphin and Giants fan, so this year both my teams get to get beat by the Patriots. Maybe we'll get lucky and the whole team will come down with pneumonia or something when we play them. Anyway, thanks again for the comment and hope to hear from you again.

Hey I really enjoyed reading what you wrote about NE. The only thing I would question is your eval of Jarvis Green. I think he's better than you give him credit for. I'm not a stat guy too much, but I pegged Teddy Bruschi in his 1st year. Not many people even heard of him until after they one their 1st SB.
I'm a little worried about their secondary again this year but I probably shouldn't be with defensive mad scientist Bill Belichek at the helm.
